Re: Hanau, 10.08.

It sounds like it's been a special Birthday evening! It seems you all enjoyed that more than me with Tull show in Görlitz, exactly a month ago. (1/3 of setlist was f*cked up in acoustics, at least from my seat in row 8.)

Boots from that or any other recent German shows, anyone?

Cheers!

Boots from current Seven Decades tour?

Hi there, Loong time since I logged here last time, though I still visit that little place on regular basis. I have to say you Germans are, pretty often, most informed Tull fans! Anyone could share with me any recordings from current Tull (or 'Tull') shows, please? There is so little of them on inte...

I really would like to attend the convention, it seems to be a great deal, but from what I found on internet, Novi Ligure is so little town... Of course it doesn't necessary mean that it's a "shit hole" It seems there are no hostels, so it could mean horrid costs for bed - horrid fo...

The Ianesque Trails in Edinburgh Capital

Hi all, While waiting for any news about Tull (dis)activity... I would like to invite you to read my essay about trails of Ian's childhood in Edinburgh, including pictures. My Scottish trip was so brilliant that I wanted to share my unique experience with other Tull fans. Finally, my article is avai...

I am glad you enjoyed this tour more than me, Catfish! :) I don't think I got it all wrong - just got it on my own subjective way  Better set list and different show format (with Lucia stuff played in usual "support" part, with single exception of "Kashmir", as it sounded q...

Tull @ Edinburgh Usher Hall

March 1st 2006, "The Aqualung Tour" The concert began almost punctual with opening "Life Is A Long Song", which was interesting difference to me. It was splitted into two half (with interval), like in US last year - quite acoustic first (with Doane Perry playing small drum kit i...

Hey, look what I've found to support Ulla's information! :D It's not from "years ago", but from 2005, though ;) http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/2162/postimages5dscf00536ea.jpg Ex-Tull's Clive Bunker meets RHCP's Chad Smith Source: http://www.sabian.com/sabiantalk/forum/messageview.cfm?c...

years ago Clive Bunker did a workshop with RHCP´s drummer (What´s his name?).
Wow! His name is Chad Smith. Now it seems that RHCP should be placed in "Jethro Tull Related Bands" section of this forum ;)

Re: ...

Well, I'm not really a fan of the Peppers, but I can appreciate their music. This summer I go to the Pinkpop Festival, and the Peppers are headlining the last day, so I will hear their new stuff live by then! Oh you lucky bastard! Sadly, they still ignore polish fans... RHCP is the only band...

I think that BSSM is a century masterpiece and -of course- I can't await the new album, too ;-). As much as I love "Give It Away", "Under The Bridge" and "Breaking The Girl", I have to say that "Roots To Branches" album is better! For me it's number One of Ni...

Re: The Red Hot Chili Peppers 2006

Yes, Mr. Bunker listens to their music in the car. VERY LOUD! So he will be very happy to buy the new album. So we have another Tull-RHCP link! Thanks for this fine information, Ulla :) There are pretty much of them: - Back in the very early days of RHCP, they had a guy of name Jack Sherman on guit...

The Red Hot Chili Peppers 2006

My favorite band (after Tull, of course ), Red Hot Chili Peppers announced 2CDs of the new music, to be released in May this year. The title is "Stadium Arcadium". I can't wait! Anybody being much into RHCP here? :)

Well, so it's NO Jethro-Tull-concert - point taken. Search google to see that these indian shows were handbilled by JETHRO TULL, not Ian Anderson solo, or even "Jethro Tull / Ian Anderson" as the official website says. Every true Tull fan should understand what Herbert meant. Cheers, Luka...
