Amazaon USA und UK melden jetzt jeweils zwei Titel unter o.g. Namen zur recht unterschiedlichem Preis, beide als Import, woher mag das Handelshaus die Ware denn erwarten?

Aus dem Land, in dem CDs, DVDs und Cover am günstigsten gefertigt werden. Weder Preis noch Produktdetails (1 CD) - und wohl auch das Veröffentlichungsdatum - dürften akkurat sein. In der Presse und im Internet ist von dieser Aqualung-Ausgabe seit Monaten die Rede, aber bestätigte Produktdaten sind offenbar noch nicht veröffentlicht worden. Onlinehändler stellen also nur den Produktnamen auf ihre Seiten um ihren Kunden zu signalisieren, dass sie das Teil auf dem Schirm haben und natürlich, weil es im Onlinegeschäft auf "Hits" ankommt.

... es wäre ja echt verrückt, dass man sich - wenn man die hochauflösenden Tonformate möchte - auch noch Vinyl dazukaufen müsste. Und auch DVD UND BluRay zwingend zusammen macht für mich keinen Sinn... mal abwarten, was letzten Endes wirklich kommt...

... wenn man´s kauft... und die Hälfte des Materials aufgrund fehlender Geräte (bei mir Plattenspieler) nicht mal abspielen kann... für ne Box mit BluRay oder SACD/DVD-Audio hätte ich sicher bis 60-70 Euro bezahlt... naja, mal sehen...

Jetzt noch meine Frage:
Wo ist es am gescheitesten/günstigsten sich das Stück zu besorgen? Das ist ja keine Kleinigkeit, und wenn ich lese "Limited...something something", dann hab ich fast Angst da was zu verpassen. Holen möchte ich mir das Stück schon gerne, auch weil ich Aqualung noch nicht als Schallplatte habe, und überhaupt und sowieso. Aber ein Haufen Geld ist das dann schon, auch wenn es sich sicher auszahlt. Daher: Wo kaufen?

Inhaltlich ist das alles ja doch eine herbe Enttäuschung (zumindest gemessen am Preis). Wie schon befürchtet wurde, kommt gar nichts Unbekanntes ans Licht. Neuer Mix, Remastering, schön und gut ... immerhin ein paar Early Version und eine "Full Morgan Version", was auch immer das ist.

Und genau deshalb schreiben die lieben Leute das da drauf. Limitiert ist jede CD, auch wenn man manchmal das Gefühl hat, es gibt unendlich viele davon.

Ich kann mir jedenfalls nicht vorstellen, dass das Teil bei dem Preis und ohne echte Neuveröffentlichungen reißenden Absatz finden wird.
