seit längerem lese ich mit Freude Laufis Homepage und dieses Forum hier. Jetzt habe ich mich auch angemeldet – dies aus einem bestimmten Grund:
32 years of Jethro Tull: Was in zartem Alter harmlos anfing, hat sich bei mir - wie vielleicht bei so manchen Nutzern dieses Forums - irgendwann zur Leidenschaft ausgewachsen, dann aber auch wieder ein wenig gelegt. Lange war ich als Jäger und Sammler unterwegs, um von meiner Leib- und Magenband zusammenzutragen, was Freizeit und Finanzen, zunächst Flohmärkte, später die Zeitschrift „Oldie Markt“ und schließlich bisweilen auch Ebay hergaben. Irgendwann war ich's müde, und in letzter Zeit habe ich mich immer mal wieder bei dem Gedanken ertappt, mich eventuell zumindest von einem Teil meiner Sammlung, nämlich den Singles, zu trennen.
Um das Ganze kurz und schmerzlos über die Bühne zu bringen, biete ich hier 145 Singles als Package an. Ich habe einen Mindestpreis dafür im Kopf, den ich gerne erzielen, aber nicht nennen möchte. Legt jemand diese Summe innerhalb der nächsten vier Wochen auf den Tisch, gehören die Singles ihm bzw. ihr. Melden sich mehrere Interessenten, gewinnt der/die Meistbietende. Klappt das nicht, werde ich die Sammlung entweder en bloc bei Ebay einstellen … - oder vielleicht doch behalten, denn beim Durchsehen und Auflisten kamen mir die Tränen.
Zur Bewertung: Ich habe mir große Mühe gegeben, die Singles nach den gängigen Abstufungen mint (m), very good (vg), good (g), fair (f) und poor korrekt zu bewerten. Diese Bewertung ist optisch erfolgt – zuerst das Cover, dann die Platte. Seht Ihr nur eine Bewertung, bezieht sie sich auf die Platte; in diesem Fall kommt die Single in einem Firmenloch- oder neutralen Cover. Da ich mich selbst hier und da beim Kauf über zu (nach)lässige Bewertungen geärgert habe, sei betont: Ihr könnt sicher sein, auch an als vg oder g eingestuften Exemplaren Freude zu haben.
Ich bitte um Verständnis dafür, dass ich Reklamationen nach einem Verkauf nicht berücksichtige. Ich nehme weder die ganze Sammlung noch Einzelexemplare zurück; es gilt: gekauft wie beschrieben (oder besichtigt).
Fragen sind – mit Ausnahme solcher nach dem Verkauf einzelner Exemplare – natürlich willkommen. Die Singles können in Augenschein genommen (Niederrhein) und nach dem Kauf abgeholt werden, ansonsten verschicke ich sie nach Absprache per Post oder Hermes. Versandkosten kommen zum Verkaufspreis hinzu.

after quite a long time of hunting Tull stuff I think of selling my 7” single collection, consisting of 145 items as listed below. I’d like to give away these singles as a package, I will not sell any of them separately. Strange, hm? But maybe effective.
So how can they be won? Let’s try some kind of an auction and do it as follows: I’ve got a specific amount of money in mind that I’d like to receive but won’t mention here. If anybody out there offers that amount or more via private message within the next four weeks, he/she has got it. In case there might be several potential buyers, the collection will go to the highest bidder. If the records won’t be sold this way, i will either offer them via Ebay … - or just keep them.
I tried hard to grade all of the the items accurately according to the well established classifications mint (m), very good (vg), good (g), fair (f) and poor. Grading was done visually, not by playing the records. First grading refers to the sleeve, second grading to the record. If you find only one grading, then it’s for the record. Those items come with company or neutral sleeves.
In all those years I built up my collection consisting of LPs, bootlegs, maxi singles, promos and so on as well I often worried about careless graded collectibles I bought. So be sure that items graded as vg or g are nice to have and absolutely worth becoming parts of your collection.
In case my single collection should be sold I will not accept complaints or return any money. I neither will take back the whole collection nor sole items after having received payment and having delivered the offer to the highest bidder. Please trust to my grading.
