Tell us: is it you who are here for our good cheer?Marengo hat geschrieben:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IC8WzijT-WU
Or are we here for the glory, for the story, for the gory satisfaction
of telling you how absolutely awful you really are? Hoppla!

"Give us some music, Fat Freddie" (Source: Hamburg CCH October 03rd 1984, unknown concert goer some 3 rows behind me who obviously didn't like the Under Wraps stuff too much)Whistling Catfish hat geschrieben:Tell us: is it you who are here for our good cheer?

"Cross-Eyed Mary" performed live in Phoenix Wed, 5/30/2018.
Ian Anderson struggled with hitting the notes on his vocal. Sounded like he had a frog in his throat.

Here it is. The classic tune from Aqualung. There are some insane flashes of Brilliant Classic Ian Anderson flute and guitar playing here, however, it was a real pity about Ian's voice on this one.
It kills me to say this, but The Man simply should not be singing any more.

Here is the scant 3 minute snippet of Thick As A Brick that Ian Anderson and his band performed Live Wed. night, 5/30/2018 in Phoenix as part of his Opening Night performance of Jethro Tull's 50th Anniversary Tour. Ian was experiencing some serious vocal difficulties throughout the night, unfortunately. The old flashes of Brilliance were still there, starting at the 2:23 mark when he shifts from flute to guitar and starts the outro on his piccolo acoustic guitar...

Re: The 50th Anniversary Tour.....
