Too old to RnR bookset
Wondering what the chances of the remaining master tapes are of being found and we get another release of this set with extra material. Tulls bonus tracks tend to be up there with their best material quite often and six o’clock news is supposed to be a great track. Apart from that track and Advertising man, there must a few more extras. A couple of live tracks played at the time could be a couple. Also, the album tracks that got the full remix were some of Wilson’s best work. A full remix of the album and a second album would be a perfect way to finish the series once we get the 85-99 albums done
Re: Too old to RnR bookset
That’s a very nice comment, but who beside Dee Palmer once has ever written about “6 o'clock news"? Couldn’t it be, that the song has a different title and ended up on, say, SFTW or HH? Anderson was very restrictive at the start of the reissue series. But by the time “Town in England” came out, at the latest, he had allowed an unfinished fragment to be released. One can only hope that “Advertising Man” corresponds to the 1/4 version. “Pancake Doomsday” seems to be most likely to be aired as an early instrumental backing track on anew Aqualung release this year. However, no one has officially confirmed yet, whether all of this will actually be included in the Atmos edition as a purchasing incentive.

Would love to get Hard headed English general in the studio
Pancake Tuesday is an early version of Saturation?
I assume six o’clock news and Advertising man are unreleased as there’s meant to be a few more 1976 tracks to make up a second album.
Beethoven’s 9th and Guitar/Drum instrumental may be a couple of songs done in the studio that year too.
Ian probably went overboard with heavy horses extras.
I guess they’re good to check out though
