Jethro Tull in Switserland and Austria next May
Maybe interesting for some members on this board:
Jethro Tull will play on the BEA Night in Bern, 5 May, and in Austria on 6 May in Rankweil.
The BEA Night is a festival (first edition last year), and Jethro Tull is the headline. Other big names are Barclay James Harvest and The Alan Parsons Project.
No info on the official BEA site yet, but maybe in the near future:

Hey Danjel, did you visit the BEA Night? Or are here other people who visited Bern or Rankweil? Would be nice to hear from you!
I discovered that not only in Bern, but also in Rankweil Tull was together with The Alan Parsons Project.

Here a short review from a good friend of me in Bern:Snafje JT hat geschrieben:Hey Danjel, did you visit the BEA Night? Or are here other people who visited Bern or Rankweil? Would be nice to hear from you!
I discovered that not only in Bern, but also in Rankweil Tull was together with The Alan Parsons Project.
It was a triple concert: Alan Parson first, then Tull, then Barclay
James Harvest. Each group should have played 75 minutes; the Tull gig
was 85 minutes long.
JETHRO TULL CONCERT - SETLIST
01 NOTHING IS EASY
02 CROSS-EYED MARY
03 LIVING IN THE PAST
04 BOUREE
05 BEGGAR’S FARM
06 UP TO ME
07 MOZ 'ART
08 MOTHER GOOSE
09 MORRIS MINUS
10 HYMN 43
11 BUDAPEST
12 AQUALUNG
13 LOCOMOTIVE BREATH
14 BLACK SUNDAY
15 CHEERIO
The Mozart rendition has improved since the first time I've heard it.
It's more integrated in the set as a Tull piece itself.
The atmosphere was good; there were some musical diamonds spread through
the concert (but maybe only to my ears) - tight little moments that I
had never come across before.
Thanks Tull!
The rest of the evening was neglectable (Alan Parson) if not disturbing
because of sound problems (Barclay); about a third of the crowd left the
concert during the last set.
Cheers

Black Sunday?! if you had asked, I'd have said Protect & Survive Instr. - but now I'm uncertainclasp hat geschrieben:

Hallo "langsamer" Freiburger
Konzertes in Bern (BEA NIGHTS) vom 05.05.2006 gelesen.
