Hello,

I got my 25th an. blue box (CD25CR08 from 1994) a few days ago (ebay/22,50 Euro). The CD has the number CDP32 1044-2 (and the matrix number CDP 321044 2.2:3:10 EMI SWINDON) . This is the same number as the original UK CD release from 1983. The CD-booklet of my blue box says "(c) 1983 Chrysalis records ltd". Did they use old stock CDs and booklets from 1983 for the 1994-box? Not very likely, because two different UK versions (CCD 1044 and CCD 9332) were released by EMI after the 1983 CD and before the blue box appeared. Has anyone compared the mastering of the 1983 UK-CD and the blue box CD? How long (minutes) is the original UK-CD from 1983?
