Martin Barre, lead guitarist with legendary Jethro Tull announced that he is finished with Tull. The 60year old lead guitarist said: "I simply can't stand that bloody flute anymore"
It was reported that after Barre's statements several middle aged men suffered from nervous breakdown.
In Salisbury (Wiltshire) a 53-year old man jumped out of his first floor window and broke his ankle. His wife Mary (23) cried:"I had no idea that this band was so important to him!" Fireman Jack Arnold Lynn (95) said : " Oh dear...the last time I expierienced something like that, was when Take That disbanded. Never thought that such old geezers like Jethro Tull would have such an impact on grown up people!
Jack Knifebarber, headmaster of Salisbury Grammar school for boys said: God bless all those old folks out there. There's a life after that!"
Of course we have asked Ian Anderson, leader of Jethro Tull and he said:"Oh, of course I am sad that Martin is leaving....but on the other hand he always cheated whilst playing table tennis! Florian O. is a much better table tennis player than Martin ever was.....and that's what counts."
Yellow press journalist all over the world renewed their interest in Jethro Tull and hotlines had been installed for desperate fans*. If you are desperate please call: 015638638
