Neues "Jethro Tull" Album März 2023

In den letzten Wochen hat Anderson bereits öfters über das nächste Album gesprochen. In dem unten verlinkten Video wird er etwas konkreter:
12 Songs sind geschrieben. Er hat die Texte und musikalische Konzepte fertig. Die ersten Demos sind auch im Kasten und werden bald an die Band übergeben. Für die Demos hat er sich eine neue E-Gitarre gekauft. Am 2. Juni geht es ins Studio. Bis Ende des Jahres soll es fertig sein. Release Ende März 2023!

Yes! Freue mich jetzt schon drauf. "TZG" läuft bei mir immer noch auf "HEAVY ROTATION"! Wenn das neue ähnlich klasse wird bin ich sehr, sehr happy mit dem Opi.

Ich freue mich jetzt schon drauf. TZG habe ich seit Anfang Februar nicht mehr angehört, aber ich freue mich auf alles, was IA/JT/IAsJT/JTsIA veröffentlicht ...

bin überzeugt, dass es dann doch wieder erst 2024 wird, aus welchen Gründen auch immer. (Vom Broadsword-Remix ist schon gar nicht mehr die Rede ....). Grundsätzlich habe ich da Geduld, aber auch meine Zeit auf Erden wird knapp (unser aller Zeit wird knapp, wenn Putin so weitermacht). Mal abgesehen davon ist es aber ein recht spannendes Interview, das ich mit Freude angesehen habe., vielen Dank fürs Posten.

Das Argument mit Rock Album = Tull, alles andere = IA Solo...naja.
Immerhin ist ja The String Quartets auch also Jethro Tull vermarktet worden, und da ist nicht mal eine Band drauf.

Les' das hier jetzt erst nach meinem Post im Nachbar-Thread. Aber Du weißt dann vielleicht, was ich da am Ende meine..... objektiv betrachtet....

"The band have finished work on the 23rd Jethro Tull album. Bruce Soord of The Pineapple Thief has just completed the surround sound mixes and an alternative stereo mix too. Out in the Spring of 2023. Stay tuned for more info…."

Splendid! Und da ich noch immer kein Surround System besitze, freue ich mich umso mehr auf zwei alternative Stereo Mixe. Das wird ein Fest im Frühling.

I wrote the main themes and lyrics back in January of this year and sent the first demos to the band in February and March, much as I did with The Zealot Gene, back in 2017. Most of the recording took place in June and August with the stereo mixing done in September. My new pal Bruce Soord of The Pineapple Thief undertook to create the surround sound mixes and an alternative stereo mix too.”

Das ist auf jeden Fall jemand, von dem ich musikalisch sehr viel halte - hoffen wir mal, dass er auch so mischt

Oh, diesmal gibt es zumindest ein Artwork.
Ich bin entzückt.
