Martin wrote this month on his website:

I have worked with Dan Crisp occasionally over a couple of years, and this December we are playing 3 - 4 shows in the South West of England. I think that the combination of Dan's and my music works really well. If we take the project one step further we will look at Europe next year.

Having just moved home (it has taken 18 months to finish the "refurbishment") I now have a studio to work in. Next year, time permitting, I will start work on another album, possibly including live tracks from various Martin Barre bands, plus 20 with Willie Porter, some best-of tracks, some instrumental versions of lesser known Tull songs and, finally, new music from me! A double/triple album?

die Gigs im Südwesten Englands sollen überaus gelungen gewesen sein. In Wellington gab es neben Martin sogar noch einen weiteren Weltstar auf der Clubbühne zu bewundern: Soul-Shooting-Star JOSS STONE liess es sich nicht nehmen einen Song gemeinsam mit Dan, Martin und den anderen Jungs zum Besten zu geben:
